    २. Parichay & Saransh (Introduction & Summary)

    Lekhak Parichay: ही संकल्पना मराठी व्याकरणाचा पाया असून, ललित साहित्यात लेखकाचे अनुभव प्रभावीपणे मांडण्यासाठी शब्दशक्तींचा वापर केला जातो.


    Madhyavarti Kalpana (Central Idea):


    • Marathi: शब्दाच्या अंगी अर्थ व्यक्त करण्याची जी शक्ती असते, तिला 'शब्दशक्ती' म्हणतात. अभिधा, लक्षणा आणि व्यंजना या तीन प्रमुख शब्दशक्ती आहेत.


    • English: 'Shabdshakti' refers to the inherent power of a word to convey meaning. There are three types: Abhidha (Literal), Lakshana (Indicated), and Vyanjana (Suggested).


    Bilingual Summary (Saransh):

    • Marathi: भाषेच्या प्रभावी वापरासाठी योग्य शब्दांची निवड करणे आवश्यक असते. जेव्हा शब्दाचा उच्चार केल्यावर सरळ शब्दकोशातील अर्थ कळतो, तेव्हा ती अभिधा शक्ती असते. जेव्हा मुख्य अर्थाला बाधा येते आणि संदर्भाने दुसरा सुसंगत अर्थ घ्यावा लागतो, तेव्हा ती लक्षणा शक्ती असते. जेव्हा मूळ अर्थाला धक्का न लावता वाचक किंवा श्रोत्याच्या परिस्थितीनुसार वेगळा अर्थ सूचित होतो, तेव्हा ती व्यंजना शक्ती असते.


    • English: Effective communication requires choosing the right words. Abhidha is the first power where the literal dictionary meaning is understood immediately . Lakshana is used when the literal meaning is illogical, requiring a secondary related meaning . Vyanjana conveys a hidden or suggested meaning without discarding the original one, often varying from person to person.


    ६. Upayojit Marathi (Applied Grammar)

    Concept Explanation: Understanding these powers is crucial for creative writing (Lalit Sahitya). While a dictionary gives a standard meaning, authors use these powers to express complex emotions beyond simple definitions.


    Types of Shabdshakti:

    1. Abhidha (अभिधा): "I saw a tiger." (A literal animal) .


    2. Lakshana (लक्षणा): "He is a tiger." (He is brave, not literally an animal) .


    3. Vyanjana (व्यंजना): "The sun has set." (Literal sunset, but could also mean 'time to go home' or 'time for prayer' depending on the person) .

    Prashna 1: 'अभिधा' शक्तीची दोन वैशिष्ट्ये लिहा.  Uttar:


    • Prastavana: अभिधा ही शब्दाची पहिली आणि मुख्य शक्ती आहे.


    • Body: १. शब्द उच्चारल्याबरोबर त्याचा सरळ शब्दशः अर्थ कळतो. २. हा अर्थ शब्दकोशात सहज उपलब्ध असतो.


    • Conclusion: या शक्तीमुळे प्राप्त होणाऱ्या अर्थाला 'वाच्यार्थ' म्हणतात.


    Prashna 2: लक्षणा शब्दशक्ती म्हणजे काय? उदाहरण देऊन स्पष्ट करा. Uttar:


    • Prastavana: जेव्हा शब्दाचा सरळ अर्थ उपयोगी पडत नाही, तेव्हा लक्षणा शक्तीचा वापर होतो.


    • Body: ज्या शक्तीमुळे मूळ अर्थाला बाधा येते आणि संदर्भाने जुळलेला दुसरा अर्थ घ्यावा लागतो, तिला 'लक्षणा' म्हणतात.


    • उदाहरण: "त्याचे बोलणे म्हणजे काळ्या दगडावरची रेघ". येथे दगड किंवा रेघ महत्त्वाचे नसून 'कधीही नष्ट न होणारे बोलणे' हा लक्ष्यार्थ महत्त्वाचा आहे.


    Prashna 3: 'व्यंजना' शक्तीची वैशिष्ट्ये लिहा.  Uttar: १. या शक्तीतून मूळ अर्थाव्यतिरिक्त एक वेगळा सुसंगत अर्थ सूचित होतो. २. यात शब्दाच्या मूळ अर्थाला बाधा येत नाही. ३. या शक्तीमुळे प्राप्त होणाऱ्या अर्थाला 'व्यंग्यार्थ' म्हणतात.


    Prashna 4: खालील वाक्यांतील शब्दशक्ती ओळखा. १. 'मी एक लांडगा पाहिला.' - अभिधा. २. 'समाजातील असले साप ठेचलेच पाहिजेत.' - व्यंजना. ३. 'मी वि. स. खांडेकर वाचले.' - लक्षणा (लक्ष्यार्थ: त्यांचे साहित्य वाचले).


    Prashna 5: शब्दशक्तींची गरज का असते?  Uttar:


    • लेखकाला किंवा कवीला शब्दांच्या पलीकडचा भाव व्यक्त करण्यासाठी शब्दशक्तींची गरज असते.

    • ललित वाङ्मयात अनुभवांचे दर्शन घडवण्यासाठी आणि काव्यात सूचकता आणण्यासाठी या शक्ती उपयुक्त ठरतात.
