The Secret Lab Underneath - Mishra Shivam Anand - Std 4 - 7

The secret chamber in my school Our mathematics teacher was in the classroom when a helper came and informed the teacher about a 10th std boy who didn't return after entering in the laboratory. Such incidents were very common since a week before the day and therefore teachers avoided sending students to the laboratory. I decided to have a discussion about this with my close friend shubman. Whenever I get certain confusions or an idea I discuss it with him. I said to him, “hey shubman! Don't you feel curious about the fact that whoever enters the lab doesn't return back? What could be the reason behind it? ”. “Yes you are correct,”replied shubman. “ We should try going there once.” So both of us decided to go to that lab. We gave the excuse of going to the washroom to our teacher and went out. We entered the lab but nothing happened and we returned back safely. Now this grew more intriguing to us. We went back to the classroom. During recess, we saw a boy going towards the laboratory, so we decided to follow him. We saw that when he entered the lab, he was safe. But when he went to the apparatus corner, the floor flipped and he fell inside. Then we understood the case, we were safe because we haven't entered the apparatus corner. After lunch break, it was sports period. So we went on the ground and started playing. Prankfully, Shubman hitted me and ran towards the laboratory and I chased him. Shubman accidentally went to the apparatus corner and fell inside. Now it was very necessary for me to save him. So I also jumped in the chamber with my cricket bat. In the chamber, it was completely dark. Suddenly all the lights were switched on. I and Shubman didn't know about the exit from the chamber.

Suddenly we heard some footsteps. So to hide ourselves, we sat behind the boxes. There was a robot with a gun in its hand. It saw us and was going to fire, but I threw my bat and the gun fell off its hand. I and Shubman attacked it but it pushed Shubman and caught me in its hand. Shubman threw his football to save me and I fell down from its hands. Suddenly, a complete robot army surrounded us and the head of the army appeared before us. The head said “Serve us or die.” I replied, “I choose nothing because we are here to destroy you.” “As you wish,” it replied, “Robot army attack!”. We were frightened but to our surprise none of the robots attacked us. We asked, “Why are these not attacking? ”. Head robot replied, “Batteries might have discharged, but don't worry, I am enough for both of you.” We jumped to attack him but he managed us just in a single punch and got hold of my neck. In order to save me, Shubman picked up the gun of his army and started firing. So the Robot threw me on shubman. We were fighting but at the end, we fell off and therefore it took out its blaster to kill us. I threw the football in its blaster and choked it. Then I looked carefully, I found that there was a man sitting inside the head of the robot and he was controlling the robot. I told this to Shubman, then I took my bat and hitted hard to destroy its head. The robot fell down. We entered the controlling centre and pulled out the man inside it. I entered in the robot and fired the blaster in an upward direction. And now we were able to see the way to our school. The school helpers helped us to come out by throwing a rope inside. After enquiries, we got to know that the man was a scientist and he had used the chamber to create his robot army and he wanted to rule all over the world with the help of the robot army.

All the students were saved. The school principal said, “ Thank you Virat and Shubman! It would have been impossible without you”. “It was our duty”, we replied proudly. Next day, the prime minister awarded us because we had saved the world by defeating the scientist.
