Words give us the power to make our voice heard.
On the 20th of July, during an engaging Hindi lecture in Mulund College of Commerce helmed by BhashaLab's Ms. Shilpi Prakash Ma'am, an exciting and insightful activity was carried out. The session began with an in-depth discussion about newspapers, their various components, and the significant role they play in our society.
As the lecture progressed, students were tasked with a thought-provoking assignment: they were asked to write their opinions on a given topic and mail their entries to the Navbharat Times opinion section. This activity aimed to not only enhance their writing skills but also to encourage them to express their thoughts and opinions on a public platform.
We are immensely proud to announce that many students participated enthusiastically, and the opinions of two of our very own MCC students were selected and published!
Congratulations to:
Shivali Sanyal, SY BCA
Sahil Mahajan, SY BAF
Their insightful opinions on the topic "अनुच्छेद 370 खत्म होने के बाद जम्मू में बढ़ती आतंकी घटनाओं के बारे में आपका क्या कहना है?" (What do you think about the increase in terrorist incidents in Jammu after the abrogation of Article 370?) were featured in the Navbharat Times' 'मत-सम्मत' section.
This accomplishment highlights the power of words and how effectively they can be used to make one's voice heard. It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students and the excellent guidance provided by our faculty.
Well done, Shivali and Sahil! Your words have not only made your voice heard but also brought pride to our institution.
Keep expressing, keep writing, and continue to make your voices heard!
