The BhashaLab Language Carnival 2025, held at Nitrro Gym, Kopri, Thane East on 16th February 2025 was a vibrant celebration of language, creativity, and fun! With 40 enthusiastic participants from schools, colleges, and local communities, the event buzzed with excitement as wordsmiths battled it out in thrilling games of vocabulary, strategy, and quick thinking.
Event Highlights
1. Word Slash: The Battle of Unique Words
The carnival kicked off with "Word Slash," a fast-paced game where participants wrote words based on simple yet clever clues. The catch? Words had to be as unique as possible! Players called out their written words one by one, and anyone with matching answers had to "slash" (cross out) their words. The tension rose as participants strategized to keep their words rare and intact. In the end, only those with the most unique unslashed words advanced to the grand finale: Giant-Sized Snakes and Ladders!
2. Giant Snakes & Ladders: Vocab Meets Adventure
The finalists stepped onto a life-sized Snakes and Ladders board, rolling giant dice and navigating challenges at every turn:
Climb the Ladder? Answer a vocabulary question!Example: “What does ‘spill the beans’ mean?”
Avoid the Snake’s Bite? Solve a language puzzle!Example: “Spot the error: She don’t like pizza.”
Participants also tackled quirky translation tasks (“Mogambo khush hua!”, “Kitne aadmi the?”) and visual cue challenges. The questions ranged from simple to moderate, keeping everyone on their toes!
3. Prizes, Participation, and Perks
Every participant received a participation kit with a pen, water bottle, and a slice of celebratory cake. The winners took home trophies, certificates, and bragging rights!

BhashaLab is a dynamic platform dedicated to the exploration and mastery of languages, operating both online and offline. Bilingual and Trilingual Books: We develop and publish bilingual and trilingual language books for both children and adults, available on Amazon, to foster language development and cultural appreciation.
