Mantralaya in Mumbai serves as the central administrative complex for the Maharashtra state government. It houses the offices of the Chief Minister, Cabinet Ministers, and various government officials.
On 8th March 2024, BhashaLab received an invitation from Mantralaya to conduct a specialized workshop on communication skills for their security team. Attended by 95 dedicated police officers, the workshop aimed to enhance their amicable disposition and communication prowess during daily interactions within the Mantralaya premises.
The officers stationed at Mantralaya face a daily influx of approximately 3000 individuals, all requiring thorough checks. In these situations, it becomes crucial for officers to maintain composure, assert themselves, and effectively communicate why certain items are restricted. Notably, these interactions often involve high-ranking officials such as Secretaries, Joint Secretaries, and other Dignitaries who are dressed in plain clothes. Ensuring a correct tone is imperative, as any lapse might lead to dissatisfaction. It is to address these nuanced challenges that BhashaLab was called upon.
