It was my childhood habit. I used to write something or the other in my diary everyday, about my best friend, about my friends, about my classmates and whatever happened to me in the school. Whatever I found bad, I used to like it. I used to show everything in my diary - going to my grandmother's house, having so much fun there, meeting my friends there, FIR, every talk there and drowning in thoughts of peace, I used to write to them and I used to feel that I felt the happiest after going to my grandmother's house suddenly as my standards increased Anyway the pressure of studies also increased and gradually the habit of diary was also left. Who knows where the diary went.
After many years I got that diary and On seeing it I remembered that this is my treasure, these are the memories of my childhood. She used to write about good days and bad days with friends, teachers and my best friend. On seeing it tears came to my eyes. I started getting restless to read the diary. , I read it the whole night and cried a lot. It felt like my childhood came in front of me and how my grandmother used to write and how my handwriting was like. and how am I now so many things come into life I had so many friends before now all of them have changed we used to have fun they used to trouble Nani even then Nani used to say this every time you will come on vacations don't you go out and play with dear friends going out on vacations that place where I used to play in childhood now that too has changed now new developments have come there too what days were those I cried a lot after reading it and after hugging this diary to my heart I slept I got up in the morning kept it in my safe and went to my work when my heart was full If I take it out and read it, my heart feels light. Every secret of mine is hidden in it. After reading it, I laughed and felt good.
This diary has collected a lot of beautiful memories for me, I have a reason to laugh after reading this diary, my friends and my parents were so special to me, that diary made me laugh, I was not with you all the time, I love you the most from my heart, I don't have to say goodbye to people also, that is why you should stay well with everyone and you should not hurt anyone's heart, you should not stay with your loved ones for more time than necessary today. Yesterday you used your phone a lot, now you have got to look at the diary, but you seem to have used the phone a lot, if you have not taken notes of your words, then you have taken a photo today, yesterday you have not logged in, you have not even gone home because of your phone, everything has been done. You are different from the diary.
About the Author
Shah Gulfisha:
Gulfisha, a first-year student at Maharashtra College with a passion for movies, travel, and daydreaming about my next K-drama binge. Whether it’s the thrill of a good comic, the action of a South Indian film, or the vision of a leader like Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, I find inspiration in the extraordinary. While I’m still figuring out what I want to become, I know I want my journey to be meaningful, driven by curiosity, and filled with stories worth sharing.
I believe storytelling connects us — whether through cinema or a moment from life — and I shared this piece as a reminder that even in the most unexpected places, there’s always a story waiting to unfold.
