लाघब चिन्ह (०) :-
लाघव शब्द का अर्थ हैः लघु होने का भाव , लघुता,कम
लाघव चिन्ह(०) का इस्तेमाल किसी शब्द या वाक्य को संक्षिप्त रूप से लिखने के लिए किया जाता है । लाघव चिन्ह(०) का आकार शून्य से भी छोटा होता है । शून्य क्षैतिज रूप से पंक्ति के मध्य में होता है, जबकि लगभग चिन्ह क्षैतिज रूप से ऊपर की ओर होता है । लाघव चिन्ह (०) का इस्तेमाल किसी बड़े शब्द को संक्षेप में लिखने के लिए किया जाता है। अंग्रेजी में संक्षेपीकारण के लिए फुलस्टॉप का प्रयोग किया जाता है। (.) हिंदी में इस कार्य के लिए लाघव चिन्ह (०) होता है । प्रायः यह चिन्ह कुंजीपटल पर अथवा टंकण उपकरण में सुलभ न होने से लोग इसके स्थान पर फुलस्टॉप का ही प्रयोग कर लेते हैं जो की अशुद्धि है ।

विस्तृत रूप - डॉक्टर राजेंद्र प्रसाद भारत के प्रथम राष्ट्रपति थे ।
संक्षिप्त रूप - पं० दीनानाथ बहुत विद्वान है ।
विस्तृत रूप - पंडित दीनानाथ बहुत विद्वान है ।
संक्षिप्त रूप – उ० प्र० की राजधानी इलाहाबाद है ।
विस्तृत रूप – उत्तर प्रदेश की राजधानी इलाहाबाद है ।
त्रुटिपूरक चिन्ह (^):-
इस त्रुटिपूरक(^) भी कहा जाता है। लिखते समय जब कोई शब्द छूट जाता है तो इस चिन्ह को लगाकर उसे शब्द को ऊपर लिख दिया जाता है।
त्रुटिपूरक चिन्ह को हंसपद चिन्ह भी कहते हैं । हंस पद चिन्ह को अंग्रेजी में कैरेट (Caret) कहते हैं। इसका आकार हंस के पैर जैसा होता है, इसीलिए इसे हंस पद कहते हैं। हंस पद चिन्ह का इस्तेमाल इस तरह किया जाता है।
वाक्य में छूटे हुए शब्द के पहले शब्द के नीचे हंसपद चिन्ह लगाया जाता है।
फिर छूटे हुए शब्द को लिखा जाता है।
उदाहरणः-
राम ^ गया - राम चला गया ।
सीता ^ लायी - सीता खीर लाई ।
मोहन जाएगा - मोहन कल जाएगा ।
- तुम मुझे ^ दो मैं तुम्हें आजादी दूंगा - तुम मुझे खून दो मैं तुम्हें आजादी दूंगा ।
- राजा दशरथ ^ के पिता जी थे - राजा दशरथ राम के पिता जी थे ।
Laghuv (Abbreviation) Symbol (०):
The word "Laghuv" means shortness, brevity, or conciseness.The Laghuv symbol (०) is used to write a word or sentence in an abbreviated form.The shape of the Laghuv symbol (०) is smaller than a zero (0). A zero is placed at the middle of a line, whereas the Laghuv symbol is slightly raised above the line.
In English, a period (.) is used for abbreviations. Similarly, in Hindi, the Laghuv symbol (०) is used for abbreviations. However, due to the absence of this symbol on keyboards and typewriters, people often use a period (.) instead, which is incorrect.

Trutipoorak (Caret) Symbol (^)
The Trutipoorak symbol (^) is also known as the correction symbol. When a word is missing while writing, this symbol is placed at the missing spot, and the omitted word is added above it.
The Trutipoorak symbol (^) is also called the "Hanspad symbol" because its shape resembles a swan’s foot. In English, it is known as a "Caret (^)".
Usage of the Caret Symbol in Sentences:
Before the missing word, the caret symbol is placed.
The missing word is then written above it.
Examples:
राम ^ गया → राम चला गया।
सीता ^ लायी → सीता खीर लायी।
मोहन ^ जाएगा → मोहन कल जाएगा।
